100% plant based mince is hitting supermarkets this week.
The Craft Meat Company and its owners Grant and Sherie Howie, are launching 'No Meat Mince'.
The product will target Kiwis that want to reduce their meat consumption or who do not eat meat at all.
Owner Grant Howie told Chris Lynch plant-based meat has been "going off" overseas for the past two years.
He says there's big demand here as well.
'No meat mince' ingredients include mushrooms, tomato, almond, coconut oil and soy protein.
