Would you eat meat that was grown in a lab? FDA looking at regulating synthetic meat

Instead, it could come from a test tube.

The FDA is taking its first steps to regulate man made meats by 2021 but butchers like Jason Aamodt think it will get an easy pass, "I don't think it will be hard for them to get it approved."

This self-proclaimed 'Meat Jesus' has been selling the classic cuts for 13 years.

He hopes the farm and fresh-ready meat never goes away, "One hundred percent real beef will always be the way to go. No matter what we will always serve the real thing."

But, that's just one opinion, I chatted with a couple of meat lover's today. One wouldn't go on camera, but she's tells me shes all for the lab grown meat. One gentleman on the other had a different opinion, "I would be more against it than for it. I just like a fresh cut piece of steak ya know,"

And, fresh cut steak can't come from the lab. It's grown in a dish from a single animal cell.

But, that won't stop Spencer Boerger. He's still willing to give it a shot, "I wouldn't be totally against buying it... Like once and trying it to see how it tastes."

So in 3 years, you could be trading the pan, for a petri dish with a new ingredient.
