STOUGHTON, Mass. - Police in Stoughton are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a 24-hour convenience store with a meat cleaver overnight Sunday, according to a release from local police in the town.
Officials described the suspect as a white male approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-foot tall. He was dressed in all black and wearing a black mask and gloves during the time of the alleged robbery.
The suspect, according to police, approached and fled from the store on a bicycle, leaving with cash that he forced the cashier to remove from the register. The store is located on Sharon Street in the town.
